High quality Shaped Tubes

Concept pioneered shaped tubes in the early 1990s and created many of the shapes and tubes in the marketplace today.

Operating with manufacturing partners on 3 continents Concept are about to commission a purpose-built brand-new Tube making facility in Yorkshire early in 2023.

Of particular interest are our 100% recyclable tubes with paper board bases, such as these below. Paper bases have always been a challenge for spirits due to the weight of the bottle hence the use of plastic and seamed tin. Concept’s ability to offer paper bases for spirit and wine bottles is a major breakthrough.

Concept pioneered unique shape and contours in tubes in the 90’s and below there are a number of unique designs from the 1st carton-board windowed tube to the use of digital scodix print for Brockman’s gin and various creative shapes. Also is a stunning use of heavy emboss creating a near metallic effect in board as well as fabric and wood finishes

Our combined design and engineering capability mean that Concept can design tube machinery as well as make tooling which allows low-cost entry and the ability to produce short runs competitively. Ideal for promotions and Travel Retail.

If you want to control production locally then this machinery can be situated on location so that tube forming occurs simultaneously with packing at your preferred co-packer, reducing shipping and packing costs significantly.

Fold Flat Tubes

These are cost effective fold flat versions of the tube with alternative shapes from square to round or hexagonal to round and are easily hand erected. Perfect for small volumes and promotions.

Fold Flat Rigid Gift Sets

High quality rigid gift boxes that are made in the UK from carton-board and are delivered flat for self assembly. Ideally suited for simultaneous assembly and product fulfillment.

The carbon footprint benefits of going flat have proved to be extremely high. One project reduced incoming pallets from 3000 to 300 all the way through the supply chain. All the packs below are delivered in flat format.

Delivery in weeks not months, higher quality embosses and blocking using carton board rather than paper onto board, and no shipping fresh air.

Plastic vac formings v carton board inserts

To complement our fold flat gift sets we now provide a sustainable cost-efficient carton board fitment as an alternative to plastic. Not only is this tried and tested in the marketplace, but it can be automated for speed and cost efficiency. Key to fitments is holding bottles in place to ensure they don’t rotate in the pack.

Added benefits include speed to market,  highly decorative print options as well as storage and distribution efficiency compared to plastic thermo-formings.

Our fitments can be assembled off line or simultaneously online while packing using our automated options.
